Coaching for Parents
Are you experiencing learning, social, emotional, and/or behavioral challenges with your child?
Are these challenges causing undue stress?
Are you highly reactive and struggling to find balance?
Do you find yourself:
overwhelmed?
researching and collecting stacks of books?
confused?
unsure how to create supportive routines?
trying to strategize and navigate around constant struggles?
feeling alone?
not finding what you need?
I’ve been there. And, I’ve found allies, supports, and new ways to communicate, relate, and take care of myself and my child. I understand my needs better, I understand my unique child and my spouse better, and I am more confident overall.
You can experience this too.
My focus is on you and your well-being. This is first. Then, comes the rest.
There are no simple solutions to complex situations, particularly in parenting a child with unique struggles and needs. But there are approaches, insights, choices, and strategies that can help you make progress towards a better relationship and better outcomes.
It begins with you and your own well-being. At the core of the coaching experience we consider and explore what is going on for you, we develop ways for you to assess and find greater clarity, and we identify ways for you to move forward or take action that feel better and more aligned with what feels right.
What feels right may feel more tangled up than a clear path set out for you. This is the nature of parenting within a family of individuals who all have unique needs. Together, we will decide where to focus, how to fill in gaps of understanding, and what makes most sense.
Receiving parent coaching is a way to care for yourself, your child, and your family.
I provide coaching to individual parents and couples. Sessions take place online, which allows for more accessibility given the reality of work and family commitments.
As a coach, I am a part of your support community. Through coaching, you will find compassion and understanding. I will offer guidance, resources, and new perspectives as you seek to understand your life now and learn to genuinely nurture yourself and your family.
Together we will work to increase your ability to manage stress, take care of yourself, and create practices to maintain a more easeful way of pursuing your personal and parental goals.

“[I was connected] with Bree when I was struggling to understand why my parenting strategies and styles weren't going as well or smoothly with my only child as I was hoping. Her straightforward and compassionate demeanor and approach allowed me to quickly let go of the shame I felt about not measuring up to my role as a parent and quickly trust her advice, viewpoint, and expertise.
I find our meetings incredibly insightful and valuable and appreciate her approach to each conversation. In the short span of less than two months, my relationship with my child has become closer and feels more rewarding for both of us. With her guidance I've become more in tune to what my child needs from me as well as when it might be better to simply offer more space. It honestly has to be some of the best money I've ever spent and I'm so grateful for the chance to work with such a kind and knowledge parent coach.”
